Best Private School in Yolo County!

Grace Valley Christian Academy is pleased to announce that we have been voted the best private school in Yolo County for the fourth year in a row in The Davis Enterprise Reader’s Choice awards.

Since 1998, Grace Valley has successfully implemented the comprehensive Core Knowledge curriculum, which includes a sequential writing program, hands-on science, and challenging math courses at all grade levels. Students also enjoy electives such as art, public speaking, Bible courses, and robotics.

Students at Grace Valley receive an enriched learning experience through real world applications. Traditional classroom instruction is bolstered with guest lectures by subject matter experts, including surgeons, UC Davis professors, and veterinarians. In addition, Grace Valley students take world-class field trips, where the students are immersed into the environment about which they are learning. Most recently, the junior high public speaking class visited the federal district court in Sacramento, where they observed closing arguments in a nationally-publicized criminal trial, and had a detailed “Q & A” session with the Judge presiding over the case.

Grace Valley has over 80 faculty and staff, many of whom have advanced degrees in science, law, medicine, or mathematics. This high staff to student ratio is one reason why Grace Valley students excel, and are prepared for success in every future endeavor.
