GVCA Students Don Scrubs For Hands-on Science

For the second year in a row, Grace Valley Christian Academy students had the opportunity to experience something of what goes on in an operating room when they performed a lamb-heart dissection under the mentorship and guidance of Dr. Richard Perez, the UC Davis Medical Center’s chief of transplant surgery.

Families interested in finding out more about Grace Valley Christian Academy are invited to the school’s monthly chapel service and open house on Friday, October 2. The chapel service will be held at 8:30 am in the Grace Valley sanctuary and the open house will begin at 9:15 am in the education building.
