On December 9, 2006, Global Grace hosted its first event along with Grace Valley Christian Academy, a Korean Christmas Celebration in the school gymnasium. Over ninety Korean guests from the local Davis community attended the event. Many of those who came were invited by the Korean families who attend GVCA.

Grace Theater began the evening with the performance of “The Legend of Saint Nicholas” to introduce the Christmas story. Dinner was then served, and the menu included traditional American Christmas food along with special Korean dishes.  Greg Perry presented the Christmas story and everyone sang Christmas songs, many of which were new to the Koreans.  Miyoung So also gave her testimony in Korean. The children attended their own special Christmas activities in a separate classroom.

This dinner was very successful and gave the Koreans an opportunity to experience an American Christmas and understand the meaning of Christmas based on the Bible.
