Where could you meet people from Kazakhstan, Colombia, Argentina, South Korea, Japan, Mexico, Iran, England, Scotland and Burkina Faso all in one setting? At Global Grace. From June 26 to August 9 Global Grace held its second successful ESL class on Mondays and Thursday evenings, with over twice the
enrollment of the first class, and a highly motivating children’s program, Going for Gold, to provide sports acitivities for
the children. With a growing reputation among international students and scholars, Global Grace welcomed many, quickly
adapting to the demands of teaching English to speakers of various languages. At least thirty aides came each evening to not only have conversations with the students but also to develop relationships with them and serve them. A potluck dinner
was held on the last evening as a celebration of the students’ completing the class and an opportunity to converse further
with aides and teachers.
