GRACE VALLEY VOLLEYBALL CLUB
Welcome to the Grace Valley Volleyball Club website! 2007 will mark the sixth season for GVVC. We started in 2002 with one team, for girls 12 and under. In 2003, we again fielded a 12’s team, and added a 14 & under team. Since then, we have fielded three teams each season.
THE NUMBER AND AGE GROUPS OF THE TEAMS THIS SEASON DEPEND ON HOW MANY PLAYERS WE HAVE IN EACH AGE GROUP. At this time, we expect to have a 12 & under team, and at least two more teams in older ages.
Purpose (mission, goals) for Grace Valley Volleyball Club:
1) Promote and encourage Christian values in all players.
2) Pursue athletic excellence and physical fitness, through the sport of volleyball.
3) Provide an environment for girls to experience the benefits of teamwork and Christian fellowship.
4) Demand and maintain Biblical respect by the players to their opponents and to all authorities, including parents, coaches, referees, and other adults.
A profession of Christianity is not required for participation in Grace Valley Volleyball Club. Of course, we pray that every player will eventually come to know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.
