Fees and Expenses

Costs of the Grace Valley Volleyball Club are allocated among all the participating players, to arrive at a per player fee for participating in GVVC for the season.  The estimated per player fees for the 2007 season are the following:

Per player cost, 12’s:                 $300

Per player cost, 14’s or older     $400

These per player fees include the following expenses:

---   NCVA Membership fees, for teams, players, coaches, director
---   NCVA Tournament fees
---   Uniforms (shirts, shorts, socks)
---   Food and gasoline expenses for coaches at the tournaments
---   Food for the players at tournaments (excluding dinner)
---   Post season tournament fees, for teams, players, coaches, chaperones

The expenses that are not included in the per-player fees are the following:

---   Shoes
---   Sweatshirts
---   Food
---   Hotel expenses (none expected this season)

Note that the fees do not include payments to the director or coaches, or gymnasium fees.    Grace Valley Christian Center allows GVVC to use its gym free of charge, and GVVC coaches expect no payment for their services.  Relief from these two expenses helps to greatly reduce the per-player fees.. 

We do not expect any hotel expenses, because we are playing in the Area League, whose tournaments should be in the Sacramento area. 

The player fees are collected in two payments during the season, once for the NCVA season, and once for the Volleyball Festival.  If a player is unable to participate for any reason, after fees are collected, the paid fees are not refundable.
